Cellular Shades are extremely popular today. They combine modern fabrics with a honeycomb-shaped structure. Cellulars are an option that helps regulate energy in your home year-round. There are optional rear coatings that reflect the sun's rays and reduce energy transfer. All cell shades have excellent insulating properties. Some are so insulating and efficient that tax credits are available to help persuade homeowners to invest in these energy-saving treatments. All the manufacturers are trying to outdo each other with energy efficiency and insulating abilities. That competition has led to the most energy-efficient window treatments ever offered. Cell shades also help insulate and dampen sound. To top it off, there are now antibacterial & mold coating shown on some fabrics.
